A "bare" face with a bold statement lip is one of my go-to looks when I go for a simple look. Many celebrities have rocked the bare face and bold lip on red carpets. The misconception of the bare face is that you should have no makeup with the exception of the lips. However the goal of a "bare" face is making the skin look clear and dewy. There are a few points to keep in mind when rocking the bare face and statement lip.
1. Apply foundation or concealer only on redness and uneven skin. The goal is to cover what needs to be covered, let as much of your skin shine through. Then lightly apply powder to set the area.
2. Lightly apply matte bronzer on cheekbones, hairline, sides of your nose. Using matte bronzer gives a bit of colour in a natural way. Then lightly apply highlight to your cheekbones and under the brow bone

3. Fill spars areas of the brows with eyebrow powder. Filling in eyebrows help frame the face and give the face structure. I'm using Triple Fudge from the Too Faced palette
4. Define your eyes. Defining your lashes is a great way to bring out your eyes and make them bigger. To achieve bigger eyes dot eyeliner between lashes. Then lightly apply mascara on eyelashes concentrating mainly at the tips of the lashes.
