I don't know about you but a small but simple and heart warming gift I love to receive during the holidays are baked goods. I love when someone gifts me something they made with love and thought.
TEA COOKIES
Ingredients
3 c. Flour
1 c. Butter (unsalted at room temperature)
1 c. Sugar
1 Egg
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 tbs. Water
How To Make
1. Cream Butter and Sugar with an electric mixer
2. Once your butter and sugar mixture is creamed add baking powder and salt. Mix until combined.
3. Add Egg, Vanilla Extract and water to the mixture. Mix well until combined.
4. Continue to mix, and slowly incorporate flour into the mixture. Add a bit at a time and mix until well combined.
5. Until dough is well mixed, separate in 2 equal disc, wrap in cello wrap/cling wrap and put in fridge for 1 hour to chill.
6. Preheat oven to 400°F
7. Roll out dough with rolling pin until it's about half an inch (½ inch) in height. Cup out cookies to whatever shape you desire.
8. Grease a cookie sheet tray and place cookies on tray
9. Bake cookies in oven for 8 minutes
10. Once done, take cookies out of the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes. And enjoy the cookies.
